You might tell yourself, “I’m just being dramatic,” but your breath is high in your chest, your shoulders tense and your day feels full before it’s even started. That background extra in you is ready to step into the spotlight, tired, on edge and craving more space, playfulness and presence.
You might be here because you’re juggling work, family, and everyone else’s needs and somewhere along the way you stopped noticing how much it was taking from you. The old “pull your big-girl pants up and push through” message might sound familiar but it just adds pressure, until you’re running on empty, barely able to catch your breath.
Nervous system education, skill-building and guided somatic awareness aren’t just about steadying your body’s stress responses or “finding calm.” They’re about building your capacity to navigate life with more flexibility, presence and choice.

Each workshop offers a different focus, through reflective practices like mark-making, movement and breath, you’ll have space to notice and experiment with:
The workshops I design are founded on female empowerment and playful expression. You’ll be introduced to movement-based practices, expressive mark-making, gentle breath and reflective practices. A stepping stone on a journey of self-discovery and supporting your confidence or grounded presence.
A more immersive experience combining body connection, creative expression, nervous system support and deeper reflective practice. Often sharing knowledge to use as your power and supporting you in navigating your nervous system. Programmes run from 4-8 weeks and have limited numbers. Each programme follows a three-phase arc: Grounded Rebel → Express → Integrate & Activate.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) sessions, a gentle, body-based tapping practice, said to support balancing the body's energy system and release emotional blocks. These sessions are a space for exploration and self-care and while not a replacement for therapy, many people find EFT a practical tool they can use in daily life.
My inspiration begins in real-life moments connecting to other like minded women, somatic connection, my rebellious self-care and having my paint brush in hand. These resources aren’t just art; they can be used as anchors. Daily reminders to slow down, breathe deeper and live untamed.

With nearly a decade of experience working with women in trauma-informed services, my wellbeing facilitator approach blends:
• Somatic principles: grounding through the breath, body connection, EFT and movement
• Creative expression: Mark-making, reflective journaling, creative practices.
• Trauma aware approach and Relational reflective skills: Parts-work, EFT techniques and nervous system-informed strategies
I understand the push and pull between doing and being, juggling roles, racing through to-do lists, late-night scrolling, and trying quick fixes that never truly nourish you.
I designed Rebellious Rue with women in mind who’ve read the self-help books, maybe sat on the therapy couch, and are now craving something different. You’re done with the routine. You’ve felt the pull to walk into the woods and scream your lungs out. You’re ready to reclaim your energy.
